Portions of Legaspi City in Albay Flooded

In a mobile phone interview over GMA 7's News show 24 ORAS, a resident of Market Street, Bgy. 15, Legaspi in Albay Province has asked for help from the Local Disaster Coordinating Center after floodwaters swept through their area, forcing them to seek shelter on top of their roofs. The woman (whose name BCIS failed to note) said that as of 7:00 pm tonight, the rain has stopped and the floodwaters have receded slightly. They are appealing for food and clothing.
Relatives and friends in the Municipality of Bacacay and nearby towns of Albay are advised to stay where they are.
