BILIDAY BANARES-SUBIDO RELEASED FROM HOSPITAL; AWAITS DIALYSIS

Project 4, QC -- Biliday Banares-Subido was released from the Quirino General Hospital May 16 after being confined for treatment of her cervical cancer. She was operated on a couple of weeks before her release. She is currently recuperating at their home in Project 4 and is awaiting funds so she can undergo dialysis. In a telephone interview this morning, Biliday appealed to clan members to help her financially so she can immediately undergo dialysis. VINCENT BANARES PIMENTEL OFF TO SAUDI IN 2 WEEKS

Vincent Pimentel confirmed to BCIS that he is off to Saudi Arabia in a couple of weeks after receiving the go signal from his employers in the Middle Eastern kingdom. Vincent will be working as a safety officer for a subsidiary of Saudi-Aramco.

RODEL BANARES RECEIVES PASSERS CERTIFICATE FROM CSC

Rodel Banares recently received his Career Professional Certificate from the Civil Service Commission. Rodel took the Civil Service Professional Exams in 2004 and thought he failed the exams. Only recently did he discover from the CSC website that he passed.

BACACAY: ITS BERANGO-BETITIO FOR TOP GOVT. POSTS

Bacacay, Albay -- Reports reaching BCIS indicate that Gloria Berango has been re-elected Mayor of Bacacay, Albay, with Tony Betito landing the Vice-Mayoralty post. CANDELARIA, ZAMBALES: AYO SALES FAILS TO LAND NO.2 POST

Candelaria, Zambales -- In a surprising turn of events in the counting of returns for Vice Mayor of Candelaria, Ayo Sales, who was leading the count in the early stages of counting, failed to capture the Vice-Mayoralty post of the said town. There are no indications as to whether Ayo will file an election protest.

MIEL DAVID TO ARRIVE IN JUNE FROM UK

Tandang Sora, QC -- Miel David, eldest child of Vic and Ruth Banares-David will be arriving from the United Kingdom after spending months training under the British Council of the Philippines for VSO Bahaginan. Miel will spend only a few days in Manila before leaving for Davao where her work awaits.
