Mayon Volcano, Bicolandia's magnificent perfect cone, spewed ashes and molten rocks for the third consecutive day, forcing the privincial government to declare a state of calamity in the towns of Legaspi, Daraga, Malilipot, Camalig, Tabaco and Santo Domingo. The erution has drawn many tourists to Legaspi to view the spectacular eruption.

DRA. EMILIA OSUNA DAVID

Dra. Emilia Osuna David, The mother of Vic David, husband of Ruth Banares-David, passed away on June 18, 2006 at 1:00 pm at their home in San Pascual, Malate, Manila. Her remains are at Loyola Guadalupe but will be transferred to Nagcarlan before her burial on Saturday. The pious reader is asked to pray for her eternal repose.
